DA1
|.NET Web Developer
This series is perfect for anyone who
wants to learn the fundamentals of building interactive, dynamic Web
applications using the .NET framework. Students will learn the
fundamentals of the framework using either C# or VB.NET (examples and
exercises provided in both!) and get an introduction to the .NET Base
Class Library. Then they will move on to ASP.NET, and learn to put their
skills to use building interactive feature-rich Web pages. Students will
learn to work with Visual Studio .NET, leverage server controls to build
rich Web interfaces, work with ADO.NET and data bound controls, and manage
session and application state. DA2
| Advanced .NET
Our
Advanced .NET Programming Series teaches students to work with
intermediate and advanced features in the .NET framework. The first part
of the class provides in-depth coverage on a number of intermediate and
advanced tools and techniques in .NET including reflection, delegates and
events, threads, and a deeper look at ADO.NET and XML support. It uses
examples in a number of execution contexts including the Web (ASP.NET) and
Windows Forms. The second part of the class provides an in-depth look at a
number of advanced technologies in .NET, with a focus on features of the
.NET framework that emphasize multi-tier and distributed
architectures. DA3
| Fundamentals of .NET Programming using VB.NET and C#
This
introductory-level class provides a solid foundation for developers to
begin leveraging the .NET platform. Topics covered include an introduction
to the .NET framework and the Common Language Runtime (CLR), language
fundamentals, and object oriented concepts as implemented in .NET. DA4
| Intermediate .NET Programming using VB.NET and C#
This
intermediate class provides a deeper look at a number of intermediate and
advanced tools and techniques in .NET. The class provides in-depth
coverage on a number of intermediate and advanced tools and techniques in
.NET including reflection, delegates and events, threads, and a deeper
look at ADO.NET and XML support. For Web developers, learn to create
custom server controls, and leverage caching for performance enhancement.
The course also teaches advanced techniques in working with data bound
controls using ADO.NET and SQL Server. DA5
| Advanced .NET Programming using VB.NET and C#
This
advanced class provides an in-depth look at a number of advanced
technologies in .NET. The course focuses on features of the .NET framework
that emphasize multi-tier and distributed architectures. DA6
| XML for .NET
.NET
and XML are two of the most exciting and in-demand technologies in today's
Internet world. .NET bridges the gap between Web and desktop programming
and enables the creation of robust, flexible enterprise applications.
Meanwhile, XML has become the most important data-exchange format today,
facilitating the moving of data between internal systems, between
different organizations, or as Web services that enable real-time sharing
of information between businesses and individuals. XML has also become an
important data storage format where databases are not appropriate. This
course will take an intensive look at the interaction between .NET and XML. ASP.NET

class introduces ASP.NET for Web development, and covers Visual Studio
.NET, enabling students to get up and running quickly. The class drills
down into detail on Web application architecture, leveraging User
controls, and managing session and application state. Students also learn
to work with ADO.NET, and the data bound controls in the framework. The
class provides examples and exercises in both C# and VB.NET. DA9
| Web Services with ASP.NET
This
advanced class focuses on building and consuming Web services. Web
services technology, at the heart of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA),
enables programming objects written in multiple languages on diverse
platforms to seamlessly communicate with each other. Students will learn
to build and consume Web Services, and get a fundamental understanding of
SOAP and WSDL, XML-based standards at the core of this new technology. The
